Just a brief update to let ya'll know jack **** happened around here. Thankfully, Ernesto significally weakened while he was over the Mountains of Eastern Cuba. By the time he passed directly over us it was nothing but just your average South Florida Thunderstorm :)

The thing is, I went ahead and put up my shutters as we were all instructed to do. It never hurts to be prepared in the event should such a storm knock on your doorstep. Only problem is now my entire house is in the dark. The first day is always a novelty. But after a few days living in darkeness gives you a mental trip at times. I feel like I'm living in the North Pole! Not being able to see the Sun or god...just some freakin' light does things to you!

I'm kinda of hesistant in taking back down the shutters. Especially with what happened during the last Hurricane Season. I swear I must have put them on at least 4 or 5 times last year! Never again. We learned in the end its just best if you put them on the first time during the event of a storm and just leave them on until the season is over with.

But even with that logic, I'm seriously tempted in removing at least just a few of them because I don't think I can handle much more of this. Its got me a bit on edge and restless. Just even thinking about taking some of them down brings on a another headache. But I just know its gonna have to be done. If not for sanity at least for my pets. I know waking up and sleeping in darkness can't be could for them for days at a time.

Anyhow, once I find some extra energy and time, I'll go ahead and start up where I left off with the Photos I had promised to finish up and some extra graphics I needed to wrap up.

Whew!....
